something like this happened in her church, a church known for peace and generosity. she believes the crime was random and that it could have happened anywhere. i want to take to youvo you have seen before the last few days. you remember, this video was taken as the victim walked into the church and the suspect followed behind and to saturday around 12:30. the victim was ordered to the ground, his iphone, cash, and personal property was taken. as this went on, the reverend walked in. listen to what happened next. >> i was here at the time, working in the church. and i was finishing up and happened to walk out when i found the assault in action and so he pointed the gun at me and i left. i left and called 911. that is our mission. we believe that that is our mission as a church is to welcome people. and we'll be true to that

bob barnard has more. >> reporter: there will be a game tonight, damath applying in annapolis, kickoff in an hour. the private catholic school's football program is rocked by scandal, resulting in five players not just handing in their helmets but notebooks as l. according t"the washington post," the players in question allegedly hired three women from an escort service and brought them to their hotel room at 5 in the morning, after a friday night game in durham, north carolina. >> the school first learned of it on tuesday afternoon and began an investigation and five students and their families were notified they would face disciplinary procedures. >> i was surprised and taken back. >> they boys, football players with testosterone. i'm not saying it's wrong, but

to throw it on the school, that is not cool, man. >> the school community is saddened and hurt by each who do not reflect the character of the community. >> reporter: the game last friday night made the sports highlight show. damatha won big, 52-14. and the principal said that 65 players and 18 adult shipper opens were on the trip. there were bed checks and hallway inspections until 4:30 in the morning and this is after the games school officials expressed confidence in the head coach but the fallout may not be over. this afternoon, all five players are former damatha students. bob barnard, fox five news. district heights police officer on administrative leave after shooting an officer on the back and police say he arrested kyle for allegedly stealing a motorcycle. kyle's in serious condition and is expected to live.

around, this front can trigger some strong to severe thunderstorms and that is and any time after 3:00 and i wanted to flag to you the fact that the storm prediction center has portions of northeastern maryland. a little bit of delaware into pennsylvania and into new york state. all of this could potentially rotate and you have to watch the moderate risk areas and today, 89 at reagan national; dulles topped 91; bwi thurgood marshal, 88 degrees and temperatures on the warm side and into frederick, 90, and the district is 86 and that is humidity. the dew point is noticeable and two other spots in the 60s and that is going to get better into the second half of the weekend and mostly storm free and we look at saturday
